The answer to this question depends on which program you are in need of. Our practice is a non-participating provider with all major medical insurances. We do not accept Medicaid. We do accept Medicare for Chiropractic services.
CHIROPRACTIC PROGRAM
We can provide you with an itemized super bill receipt with traditional ICD-10 diagnosis codes and CPT codes so that you may easily file a claim with your insurance company yourself. Your insurance company would then reimburse you directly.
Additionally, our services are fully covered under most Flexible Spending Account, Health Reimbursement, and Health Savings Account plans. Our testing and nutritional supplements are often reimbursable as well. You can call your FSA, HRA or HSA manager directly to find out the details of your plan. We also work with Christian Health Share companies, such as Samaritan Ministries.
EMOTIONAL RELEASE THERAPY PROGRAM
Insurance does not cover Emotional Release Therapy as it is viewed as an alternative medicine procedure. There are not treatment codes for these services. We can provide you with an itemized receipt, but we cannot provide any diagnosis or treatment codes for these services. These services may be reimbursable through FSA, HRA, HSA, or Christian Health Share, but you would need to verify your coverage directly with the company.
FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE PROGRAM
Insurance may cover some testing and services but not all. We can provide you with an itemized super bill receipt with appropriate ICD-10 diagnosis codes and CPT codes so that you may easily file a claim with your insurance company yourself. Your insurance company would then reimburse you directly.
This program, in general, is considered above the standard of care and therefore elective as far as the insurance industry is concerned. We do everything we can to make sure Functional Medicine care is affordable and available to everyone! All of our patients are working-class, normal people who want to get healthy.
You may also use FSA, HRA, HSA, or Christian Health Share and we can provide you with appropriate receipts and documentation needed for reimbursement.
